Fifteen years.

That’s a long time – and a lot of forgiveness, fighting it out, babies, moves, job changes, degrees, date nights, hugs, prayers, laughter, learning.

Sticking together – and actually liking each other – for this long felt like it needed to be acknowledged in a meaningful way. Andrew surprised me with the plans being in motion; I did the details. It was such a special time with each other, the kiddos, and a couple close friends helping out.

Thinking about a vow renewal?
Do it.
Be proud of yourselves for making it this far, and committing to make it even farther.
Andrew, thank you for loving me for who I am – especially for when I haven’t made that easy on you. You’re the best there is.

Some fun details: I wore my earrings from our wedding; my bouquet (and Stella’s flower crown and Atticus’ boutonniere) by Paper Twigs included Queen Anne’s Lace and chamomile, like my original bouquet did; I gave Andrew a Night Sky print of the day and location where we got married; Andrew gave me a ring from Liza Michelle Jewelry; the guys’ ties are from Etsy. Location: Canton Garden Center, one of our family’s favorite spots. Photos by Adrienne Gerber Photography.
