Natalie & David’s Summertime Georgetown Ballroom Celebration

Getting to know Natalie and David and their families was an absolute delight. Since all of our planning meetings happened over video calls across several time zones, it was so fun to be able to finally meet them in person!

That was their goal for their wedding weekend too: getting to spend time with family and friends who are otherwise scattered across the country.

The joy their friends and family had for them was a gift to witness.
This was a FUN group, which made for a FUN weekend – at one of the most unique venues I’ve experienced.

And you know me – I’m always here for any and all cultural traditions!
David’s family is Jewish, so he and Natalie wanted to make sure to include some Jewish traditions that were important to them: a chuppah, breaking of the glass, and dancing the hora.

Design-wise, we kept everything light and airy; this brightened up the darker indoor spaces and allowed Georgetown Ballroom’s quirky decor to take center stage.

(Also, don’t tell Chicago, but Seattle might be my new favorite city.)

Natalie’s review:
I cannot thank Emily enough for helping us plan our wedding. Before we hired her we were getting more and more overwhelmed. Even though no one planning the wedding lived in the same place, or even lived near our venue, Emily was able to help everything come together, and really alleviate the stress we had.
The wedding itself was even more fun and beautiful than we could have imagined. She has such a positive and calming presence, and was such a joy to work with and have there during our day. Thank you so much Emily ❤️

They’re just the sweetest.
Thank you for giving me a place to serve, friends!
