I believe in the absolute necessity of celebrations.
Life can be really hard, but milestone moments of joy with people we love and who love us are some of the mountaintops that help make up for the valleys. So whether you’re celebrating a new or well-lived life, paying off debt, continued sobriety, young love or time-tested love – it deserves to be celebrated!
I believe that the best celebrations are an extension of who you are – your full, wonderful self!
So if you’re planning a wedding, it should clearly reflect who you are as a couple; it should look and feel like YOU to the people who know and love you best.
If you’re planning an event to educate a donor base and champion a cause, the event itself should reflect your values, mission, supporters and those you serve.
If you’re planning some other milestone celebration, this party-of-a-lifetime should reflect your unique journey to this point, and who you’ve become along the way.
I really love God and really know that I’m loved by God.
I believe deeply that this knowledge is worthless unless it makes me able to love all humans in the same way I’ve been loved: just the way I am.
I come from a long line of women who make everyday celebrations special, but my own love for planning a great party started when, at 16, I was asked to plan a summer-camp staff Christmas party. Soon followed planning my own high school graduation party, and then my wedding. As a pastor’s wife, I was often the honorary wedding coordinator when he was officiating ceremonies; that experience has grown into a whole-shebang wedding and event planning, design, and coordination agency.
When I’m not planning great parties, you can find me with my two opinionated kids and patient husband of 15 years, most likely drinking tea, reading, gardening, educating, and traveling.
Welcome.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to get started.
