1. Columbus Museum of Art Sculpture Garden

While your venue rental of the Museum includes both indoor and outdoor spaces, the Sculpture Garden offers the most intimate feel. If you want both your ceremony and reception to be outside, guests can peruse the indoor galleries during cocktail hour while the garden is transformed (we love a venue that comes with included guest activities!). Or, host your ceremony in the Edwards Court, cocktail hour in the galleries, and reception in the garden. It also makes a magical location for wedding photos.

2. Granville Inn

The Granville Inn, just outside of Columbus in historic Granville, offers all you need for a full weekend of wedding festivities in central Ohio. If you’re looking for unique fairytale architecture, cozy spaces, one-and-done venue booking, and easy accommodations and activities for your guests, this location is a great choice.

3. Columbus Zoo

The Columbus Zoo’s Africa Event Center offers customizable room sizes and a full wall of windows overlooking the Zoo’s savannah (and its animal inhabitants!). The Waters Edge space offers a variety of indoor and outdoor venues with beautiful water views. You can even arrange for an animal friend to make an appearance during your event – an unforgettable experience for you and your guests!

4. The Westin Great Southern Columbus

If you’re hoping to be downtown Columbus and historic architecture is high priority, the Westin Great Southern Columbus’ Grand Ballroom is a great choice for ceremony, reception or both. While not especially small, its molded ceiling, stained glass windows, and leaner proportions make it feel less cavernous than the typical hotel ballroom. Bonus points for being able to stay on-site, historic architecture throughout the hotel, and flexible bar and catering options.
